The 2022 Masonic Charity Golf Tournament proceeds were donated to Kids Eat Smart.

At our Annual Communication 2022, The Grand Master, MW Bro. Donald E. Lambert, and Deputy Grand Master, RW Bro. W. Donald Vokey presented a cheque for $ 10,000.00 to Dr. Myrle Vokey, Past National President, Canadian Red Cross on behalf of the Freemasons of the Grand Lodge of Newfoundland & Labrador. This appeal was launched by the Grand Lodge on behalf of all our brethren to assist the people and brethren of the Southwest Coast of Newfoundland that suffered such great lost and hardship in the recent Fiona storm. We also had brethren that were affected by this destruction and needed help to rebuild their lives. As well the Federal Government will match this donation bringing the total to $20,000.00. Brethren this shows that the Masons of Newfoundland & Labrador have honored their obligation, as we always do, of “ Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth and we wish all the people that were affected a speedy recovery. 

The Widows Sons Masonic Motorcycle Club recently presented $500.00 to Cyril Hayden of Kids Eat Smart at Lodge Conception on June 13th. following the Masonic Golf Tournament which has donated in excess of $ 250,000.00 since its inception. 

The presentation of the Emergency Donation in aid of the Ukraine Emergency fund.

Making the presentation was our Deputy Grand Master RW Bro. Donald Vokey and Katie Richardson of the Red Cross.

Katie advised that this was one of the largest donations from a particular group and will be of great help to the Ukraine people.
