Polaris Lodge No 17
Location: Freemasons Hall, Goose Bay
Meeting Night: Third Thursday of the Month ( Except July & August)
MWBro. Cluney W.G. Vincent, the Grand Master, was privileged to accompany the WBro. Robert G, Richards, Worshipful Master, brethren and Ladies of Polaris Lodge #17 to Divine Service at St. Andrews Anglican Church at Goose Bay, NL., on Sunday morning, February 5, 2017. The beautiful service re-inforced in every way the teachings of the fraternity. One could not escape the Mission Statement: “To become living examples…” and make the connect to the Grand Master’s slogan “Be the Example.” The spirit of this was captured in the signing of children, “This little light of mine…” (SOP #95)
To top it off! The puppet Play – The Masons Come to Church. This was a delightful portrayal of who Freemasons are in plain, simple language of children .
The closing hymn was “When the Sun comes up Tomorrow (SOP #84). Check it out here.
We thank the St. Andrew’s Church and Archdeacon Nellie for the warm welcome!
