I am pleased to welcome you to our new website. I trust that you will find it helpful and informative.

Freemasonry is the oldest and largest world-wide fraternity dedicated to the Brotherhood of Man under the Fatherhood of Almighty God. Although it is religious in nature, Freemasonry is not a religion but it does urge its members to be faithful to the religion of their own choice.in this jurisdiction , the governing body of Freemasonry is called the Grand Lodge of Newfoundland and Labrador, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons. It is under the leadership of the Grand Master who is assisted and advised by an elected and appointed board. We have approximately 2200 Masons who belong to one or more of the 30 lodges in our jurisdiction. Each of these lodges is under the direction of a Worshipful Master.Freemasonry teaches a pattern for living; reverence for God, morality, kindness , honesty and integrity. Members must be exemplary in their civic responsibilities; to honour their country, uphold its laws and respect those in authority. They must be prepared to maintain honourable relations with others and be willing to take part in their lodges and their lodge activities. Freemasonry is not so much an organization as it is a way of life.I trust that this site will answer many of your questions and encourage you to ask even more.
